Happy Thanksgiving from the Tiger Town Observer. We feel that we have much to be thankful for. For starters, Ron Paul visited Clemson University. Some of our staff rejoiced. Some, not so much. In a TTO impromptu/unofficial show-of-hands poll, most staff members are in support of Mike Huckabee, with the good Doctor Paul coming in a close second.

To be honest, however, staff support is divvied up across the proverbial board of Republican Presidential hopefuls. We have some for Romney, some for Tancredo, some for Giuliani, and some for Thompson. To my knowledge, we do not have anyone who is supporting John McAntiChrist, er, McCain I mean. And no, it's not because we're all Mormons.

No one at the TTO is supporting John McCain, but if you're still interested in voting for a McCain, might I suggest that you turn to page 12 for a rather compelling case delineating why you should vote for his 95-year-old mother. I daresay she's far more lucid than her crackpot son. Not to mention more attractive. 95 never looked so good.

We at the Tiger Town Observer encourage you, our dear readers, to take some time to ponder what it is that you're most grateful for. Is it federal healthcare? Illegal immigrants? Ann Coulter? Mike Huckabee? Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week? Maybe it's Mike Adams, the FairTax, giving blood, or Ron Paul. Whatever the case, we've got you covered.

Also, if you're not thankful for the ever senescent Pat Robertson, then we sincerely hope you are by the time you finish reading. For more on that, see below.

So go. Go home and enjoy your Thanksgiving break. Eat over 20 pounds of turkey just because it's there. Succumb to your grandma's insistence that you bring 27 assorted pies and cakes back to school, then turn around and sell them to your friends. That's capitalism, and that's what the TTO likes to see.Don't forget to take a Tiger Town Observer to your parents. They'll love it, trust us.

And while you're out, don't forget to also enjoy the CNN YouTube Republican Debates on November 28. Personally, my money is on Ron Paul. That's just me going by history, of course. Anything could happen, though. Huckabee's swweping second in the Iowa polls. Take THAT, Romney!

If you're looking for laughs and/or nausea or if you need an alternate method of procrastination because Facebook has already stolen too much of your soul, I suggest you tune in to the CNN Democratic Debates to be held in Las Vegas on November 15. If you're interested in soul-stealing and all that jazz, just stare directly into Hillary's eyes.

That'll do the trick.

Erin, your facebook/myspace photos of yourself are completely unprofessional. I would invest in a photographer for the observer.

Beth, I believe you're missing the point entirely. The Tiger Town Observer is not about me; I just happen to be the current Editor. The only reason I even include a photo of myself at all is due to the fact that it was a precedent set years and years ago by previous editors. (Continued…)
